Blackberry Daiquiri
Ingredients:
- 1.5 oz Planteray 3 Star Rum
- 1 oz Monin Blackberry Syrup
- 0.25 oz Chambord Black Raspberry Liqueur
- 0.75 oz Lime Juice
Directions:
1. Add ingredients to a cocktail shaker filled with 2 large ice cubes.
2. Shake ingredients for around 20 seconds, or until the shaker feels cold.
3. Double-strain the cocktail into a martini glass (use a wire mesh strainer in addition to the cocktail shaker’s built-in strainer), and garnish with blackberries on a cocktail skewer.
*For the Blackberry Syrup:
6 oz Blackberries
0.75 Cup Sugar
0.75 Cup Water
1. In a small saucepan, combine the ingredients and heat over medium-high heat until simmering.
2. Gently mash the berries with a wooden spoon and let simmer until the berries have disintegrated into seeds.
3. Remove from heat and strain out the seeds through a fine mesh sieve. Discard the seeds.
4. Store in an airtight container and refrigerate up to 2 weeks.
