Pumpkin Spice Cocktails
If you wait all year for pumpkin spice to reappear at your coffee shop or hover eagerly as the pumpkin pie cools at Thanksgiving, you may be a pumpkin spice superfan. Good news! We have lots of recipes that bring that warm fall flavor straight to your cocktail shaker.
One easy tip to bring that fall flavor to your home bar is to add a shaker of pumpkin pie spice to your garnish arsenal. Add pumpkin pie spice to sugar in a wide, shallow dish. Run a slice of lemon around the rim of your cocktail glass and then dip in the sugar-spice blend. Now you have a glass perfectly rimmed with pumpkin spiced sugar, ready to fill with one of these great cocktail recipes.
Casa Pumpkin Spice
Ingredients:
- 2.5 oz Casamigos Blanco
- 1 oz Agave Nectar
- 1 oz Heavy Cream
- 0.25 Almond Liqueur
- 2 Heaping Bar Spoons Pumpkin Puree
- 2 Dashes Angostura Bitters
- 1 Pinch Nutmeg
- 1 Pinch Cinnamon
Pumpkin Bourbon Cider
Ingredients:
- 2 oz Basil Hayden's Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey
- 0.75 oz Lemon Juice
- 0.5 oz Sweet Vermouth
- 0.25 oz Sugar
- 0.75 oz Pumpkin Puree
- 6 Dashes Angostura Bitters
- 2 oz Hard Apple Cider
- 1 Pinch Nutmeg
- 1 Cinnamon Stick
Directions:
Combine pumpkin puree, superfine sugar, sweet vermouth, bitters and lemon juice into a mixing glass. Stir until sugar is nearly dissolved. Add Basil Hayden’s Bourbon and ice. Stir well and strain into a cocktail glass. Top with dry hard cider. Garnish with grated nutmeg and a cinnamon stick.
Backwoods Pumpkin
Ingredients:
Fireball Pumpkin Spice Coffee
Ingredients:
- 1.5 oz Fireball Cinnamon Whiskey
- 1.5 cups Coffee
- 1/2 cup Milk
- 1/2 cup Pumpkin Puree
- 1 tsp Pumpkin Pie Spice
- 1 tsp Maple Syrup
- top Whipped Cream
Directions:
Place a saucepan over medium heat and pour in the pumpkin puree, pumpkin pie spice, coffee, milk, and maple syrup. Stir until hot. Add whiskey and ladle into mugs. Top with whipped cream. Garnish with caramel sauce and cinnamon sticks. Serves 4.

- 3 oz Amaretto
- 3 oz Bourbon
- 0.5 Can Pumpkin Puree
- 2 Scoops Vanilla Ice Cream
- 1 Dash Vanilla Extract
