*Strawberry Simple Syrup
Ingredients:
1 Cup Sliced Strawberries

Directions:
1. In an airtight container, add 1 cup of sliced strawberries and top
with 1 cup of granulated white sugar. Make sure the sugar is evenly
distributed over the strawberries.
2. Refrigerate for 24-48 hours, letting the sugar absorb the strawberry
juices.
3. Strain the strawberries out of the syrup and refrigerate the syrup
for up to 10 days. Strawberries can be discarded or used for desserts.
In a glass, muddle sugar, 3 strawberries, balsamic, and vanilla bean. Twist the 4 basil leaves and add to glass. Pour in Tom Cat, and stir. Fill glass with ice and top with club soda. Add strawberry and basil leaf for garnish.
