Catch the fever of Spring
Blucumber Fizz
Ingredients:
- 2 oz Maker's Mark Bourbon
- 0.25 Cup Cucumber
- 1.5 oz Chamomile
- 0.5 oz Lime Juice
- 2 tsp Egg White
- Soda Water
- Cucumber
- Blueberries
Directions:
Shake Maker's Mark Bourbon, chamomile/blueberry syrup, lime juice and egg whites with ice, then double-strain into a tall glass with ice. Top with soda water and then gently push down and stir twice with a bar spoon. Muddle the cucumber in a shaker. Add remaining ingredients and ice. Shake vigorously and double strain into a tall glass with ice. Garnish with cucumber zig-zags and fresh blueberries.
*Chamomile/blueberry syrup: Boil 16 oz. of water with 4 chamomile tea bags for 10 minutes. Remove the tea bags, then add 1 cup of blueberries and simmer for 10 minutes. Remove the blueberries, remove pot from heat, add 3/4 cup of sugar and stir until sugar dissolves, then let the syrup cool.
Green Garden
Ingredients:
- 2 oz Vodka
- 1 oz Lime Juice
- .5 oz Simple Syrup
- 2-3 Slices Cucumber
- Wedge Lime
- Sprig Basil
- Crushed Ice
Garden Party
Ingredients:
- 1.5 oz Ketel One Vodka
- 0.5 oz Elderflower Liqueur
- 0.5 oz Rose's Lime Cordial
- 2 to 3 Cucumber
The Gazing Ball
Ingredients:
- 2 oz Vodka
- .75 oz Cointreau
- .75 oz Passion Fruit Juice
- .5 oz Cranberry Juice
- .5 oz Lime Juice
- Splash of Simple Syrup
Directions:
Run a lime wedge around the rim of your glass and dip the rim in sugar (optional). Add your favorite vodka, passion fruit juice, cranberry juice, Cointreau, lime, and a splash of simple syrup into a shaker with ice. Shake contents. Strain out ice and serve over fresh ice in a whiskey glass. For extra flair, add a spherical cube to gaze at while you enjoy this spring drink.
Lavender Margarita
Ingredients:
- 2 oz Tequila
- 0.5 oz Cointreau
- 1 oz Lime Juice
- 0.5 oz Lavender Syrup
Directions:
Lavender Simple Syrup Instructions:
-1 cup water
-1 cup sugar
-1/2 cup dried lavender flowers
Combine the water, sugar, and lavender flowers in a small saucepan. Bring to a simmer for 2 minutes, or until clear and sugar is dissolved. Remove from heat and cool. Strain and refrigerate until needed.
Cocktail Instructions:
Add tequila, cointreau, lime juice and lavender simple syrup in a shaker filled with ice. Shake until chilled.
