The term ‘hot toddy’ originally referred to warm whiskey drinks but why limit ourselves?! A hot toddy can be any type of base that you want. It can be as sweet or hearty as you want to!

Melt away that chill with a few of our favorite hot toddy recipes! These cold-weather cocktails are sure to warm you up as the temperatures drop.

Tips:

• Choose a hot base that works for you - coffee, hot chocolate, hot cider, hot water
• Keep your hot drink hot by warming your mug up first with either boiling water
• Don’t forget the garnish! A cinnamon stick, marshmallow, or whipped cream can really step up your hot toddy

Bulleit Hot Toddy

Ingredients:

• 1.25 oz Bulleit Bourbon
• 1 tsp Sugar
• 2 Cloves
• 1.5 oz Hot Water

Directions:

Add Bulleit Bourbon, fine grain sugar, and cloves in a mug.
Add boiling water.
Stir.

Kentucky Coffee

Ingredients:

• 1 Part Maker's Mark Bourbon
• 1 Part Irish Cream
• 1 Splash Frangelico Hazelnut Liqueur
• Coffee
• Whipped Cream

Directions:

Fill a mug half way with hot coffee and pour in Maker's Mark Bourbon and Frangelico Liqueur. Add cream liqueur and top off with a dollop of whipped cream.

Hot Maple Chocolate

Ingredients:

• 0.5 oz Maple Whiskey
• 1 oz Baileys Original Irish Cream
• 4 oz Hot Chocolate

Directions:

1. Add Baileys Original Irish Cream and Cabin Fever Maple Whisky to hot chocolate in a heat-proof glass.
2. Enjoy!

2 Gingers Irish Coffee

Ingredients:

• 1.5 oz 2 Gingers Whiskey
• 3 oz Coffee
• 1 tsp Brown Sugar
• Whipped Cream

Directions:

Combine all ingredients in a heat proof mug and top with whipped cream.
