Grown Up Chocolate Shakes
Who doesn't love a delicious chocolate shake? These recipes take that irresistible treat in a grown-ups only direction. Below you'll find a few different takes on the traditional mudslide, including the Maine Mudslide that features maple flavor, as well as a chocolatey spin on the pina colada and a cookies and cream cocktail that you won't want to miss. National Chocolate Shake Day should be every day!
Maine Mudslide
Ingredients:
- Vanilla Ice Cream
- Maple Smash
- Chocolate Syrup
Directions:
Mud season the delicious way.
Baileys Mudslide
Ingredients:
- 2 oz Baileys Original Irish Cream Liqueur
- 0.5 oz Smirnoff No. 21 Vodka
- 1 Swirl Chocolate Syrup
- 1 Cup Ice
Directions:
1. Blend BAILEYS, SMIRNOFF and ice.
2. Before pouring, swirl chocolate syrup around glass.
3. Garnish as desired.
Pinnacle Mudslide
Ingredients:
- 1 oz Pinnacle Vodka
- 1 oz Coffee Liqueur
- 1 oz Creme De Cacao Liqueur
- 1 oz Milk
- 1 Cup Ice
- Chocolate Syrup
Directions:
Blend all ingredients in blender, serve in hurricane glass and garnish with drizzle of chocolate syrup. Optional: substitute milk with cream.
Chocolate Cherry Colada
Ingredients:
- 1 Part Jdk & Sons Crave Chocolate Cherry Liqueur
- 2 Parts Cruzan Aged Light Rum
- 4 Parts Piña Colada Mix
- Maraschino Cherries
Directions:
In a blender, add all ingredients except the liqueur. Completely fill a hurricane glass with ice and add to the blender. Blend until smooth. Pour Crave into the hurricane glass and top with blended ingredients. Garnish with whipped cream, shaved chocolate and a cherry (optional).
Mudslide
Ingredients:
- 2 oz Baileys Irish Cream
- 0.5 oz Smirnoff Vodka
- 1 Cup Ice
- Chocolate Syrup
Directions:
1. Blend Baileys, vodka, and ice.
2. Before pouring, swirl chocolate syrup around glass.
3. Garnish as desired.
